Neighborhoods for Quality Homes is an internet based group of Homeowner Advocates based in Arizona.

This web site serves as a database for Arizona homeowners requiring assistance. Our primary goals are:

  • opening the lines of communication among homeowners for problem-solving purposes.
  • communicating with the Arizona Legislature regarding the devastating effects of shoddy construction and unresponsive builders.
  • successfully resolving problems with new homes via investigative reporting, improving building codes, establishing laws that are fair to homeowners and understanding/working with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors and the Arizona Division of Real Estate.

Due to the financial and emotional hardships caused by leaking and rotting roofs, Neighborhoods for Quality Homes has taken action and made substantial progress to make sure that other homeowners have the knowledge to protect themselves from faulty roofs.

This group made the Marana Town Council aware that roofing defects/problems went unnoticed by city inspectors due to the fact that inspectors never actually walk on the roof tiles to see if they are properly installed. As a result of actions taken by Neighborhoods for Quality Homes, city inspectors are required to complete "spot" checks in new neighborhoods to help determine if roofs are installed properly.

Are you having problems getting your builder to make repairs to your new home? Contact Neighborhoods for Quality Homes and we will make every effort to help you get your home fixed.

Sincerely,
Ross Iwamoto
